Hi, writer!

This is Renee Settle, board member, and Wild Wisdom Writer(tm) filling in for Candice as we all take turns writing the newsletter.

I'm excited to have the August update, because there are some amazing things happening this month!  You could even say things are 'heating' up! ;c) see what I did there?

First off, did you attend the workshop, Writing Kids' Lit with Pamela Thompson? Reply to this email and let us know how you enjoyed it!  We love hearing about these events and how much you enjoyed them!

September's Second Saturday is going to be fantastic, as well! It's called, "Stories Changing the Future of Medicine & Research" and promises to be very informative! Be sure to go here to register for the event!

Also, if you love conferences as much as we do, there's one happening in September! Our Northeast neighbors, Authors of the Flathead, in Kalispell, MT, are holding their 36th annual writers conference September 25th through the 27th. You can check it out, here! Be sure to tell them you're a member of IWG! We love to share our journey's with our neighbors!

Finally, I have taken on the role of Sponsorships and would LOVE to talk you if you're interested in sponsoring the IWG 2.0. I'm looking for Founding sponsors to help us build out programs and also fund the NEW Idaho Writers Guild Conference.
